Prayer

As a girl, I attended a Christian school in Brooklyn, NY called Ebenezer Preparatory School.  We had mandatory chapel every morning where we learned scripture, hymns, and all things Bible related.  Prayer was included in these daily activities! I've always known that prayer was important, but was never really taught how important and about its amazing power.  I don't want to sound cliche but prayer REALLY changes things.  I have made it a mandatory part of my day by first Commanding my morning and praising God in a way that only He deserves.  My relationship with God has changed and is more amazing day after day.  It's not difficult, if you haven't tried it, today is your day, just talk to Him and He will listen.  You will soon realize that God is better that the best friend you think you have.

Beginnings

This is new for me.  Never before have I thought of creating a blog until the Lord just placed this in my heart.  So I will document a journey of God's blessing and never failing love.  I must say I grew up in the Church, but went because I had to.  There was never much thought put into it!  You wake up on Sunday, got dressed and went to Church.  As an adult, I attended off and on but never wanted to make a commitment because I knew that the life I was living wasn't right.  I wanted to do things on my own terms. I finally decided to make a change!  I became a member of Perfecting Praise Ministries in Hempstead and "my DNA has changed".  This awesome ministry is one of deliverance and my breakthroughs are here.  We are all creations of the most high God and it is never too late, God's love is real and it is here for us all.  I hope that as I continue my journey in Christ, I will be a blessing to everyone who comes across this blog as I share and document my thoughts, feelings, breakthroughs and deliverance.
